Our Story

Welcome to Alpine Hollow – a little Montana publishing house born around a campfire and built between nap times.

Hi, I’m Laura, mom of three active boys. I live with my family in the shadow of the mountains, where the nights are big, the stars are bright, and bedtime stories always beat bedtime scrolling. Our German Shorthaired Pointer, Eva, is usually at my feet or chasing squirrels while I work.

After watching my own kids light up with crayons instead of screens, I started creating the kind of coloring and activity books that my kids kept asking for. Each page is filled with images that were inspired by my childrens interests.

That’s where Evie the puppy came from – she’s the cartoon version of our real-life Eva. Same floppy ears, same boundless curiosity, same love for farm adventures and mountain trails. Every book starts with thick, toddler-friendly lines, cozy animals, and just the right amount of magic to make parents and kids smile together.

What began as an Ocean themed coloring book starring Evie is growing into a whole collection of educational activity books, seasonal printables, and a website and mobile app that I am committed to keeping ad-free and 100% kid friendly.

More than just a shop, we’re building a warm corner of the internet where parents can grab free coloring pages, swap screen-free ideas, and remember that the best adventures often happen offline.
